What is a Pomeranian?

A Pomeranian is a small breed of dog with a thick, fluffy coat and a long, narrow face. Otherwise known as a Pom or dwarf Spitz, this is a lapdog that enjoys bonding with its owner and cuddling. The Pomeranian can make a good companion dog and is typically loyal and devoted to its owner, rarely longing to stray from home.

In fact, the world-famous painting of the Sistine Chapel was completed as Michelangelo posed his pet Pom next to him. Many celebrities own this breed of dog as well.
