Perovskia is a perennial plant that is native to Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, and Tibet, and is sometimes referred to by its common name of Russian sage. Despite this, Perovskia is not a true sage. Similarities between its scent and that of traditional sage led to the formation of its common name.
